So far I keep my resolutions up and have read more than my minimum of two books this month. Also, I wrote this post, and with minor delay, I represent to you everything I finished in February! I’ll keep it short and spoiler-free as always. Please read on and feel free to share you opinions and reccomendations with me! 🙂
I didn’t make too many New Year’s resolutions for 2015, but one of them is to wirte a [Finished] post every month. Another one is to read at least two books every month. I used to read mostly comicbooks to keep up with all the series I’m following, which led to the neglect of real reading. So I decided to not pressure myself any longer to keep up with everything and just read whatever I am in the mood for. I will try my best to stick to these two resolutions, so let’s see how it turns out. 😉
Yay, this might be the first time I’m not incredibly late with my [Finished] article! 😀 Again, for September it’s the same procedure as every month. I’ll give you a short & spoiler-free recap of all the books, comics and TV shows I have finished. The little heart marks my favorite ❤ in each category. Another new thing I’ll use from now on are these little headphones ☊ in the books-section for all the audio-books I’ve heard. Enough of the jabbering, enjoy! 🙂
Here we are again. Back for another recap of what I have been up to in terms of pop-culture. I’m sorry that I missed the opportunity to share with you for the last 3 months, but I hope I will be able to keep you updated in the future.
You might notice the little hearts ❤ next to some titles. These are the ones I enjoyed the most, so kind of my monthly favorites.
However, without further ado: here is everything I finished in August. Short & spoiler-free as always! Enjoy ❤
Oh my, I’m late with this one. So, april is over and I’m afraid it hasn’t been a great month for books and games (again). However, I finished quite a few comics beyond my usual Batman issues. I will share my opinions short and spoiler-free as always, so feel free to keep reading. 🙂
I know I am really late with this post but I still wanted to share that I have been to the Distant Worlds concert in Berlin last Sunday (13/04/14) and give you a short recap. For those of you, who are unfamiliar with Distant Worlds: This is a concert series of music solely from the Final Fantasy games. The project has been launched in 2007 and the wonderful songs by Nobuo Uematsu have been brought to stage under the conduction of Arnie Roth. So how did I like it? What happened and how was it special in comparison to other video game music concerts? Please read on to find out! 🙂
So, from now on I want to use the format [Finished] to share with you guys, what I have read, played and watched in the last month. Unfortunately, I just came up with the idea to do so when march was halfway over. So please bear with me that I don’t have that much stuff to share, because I didn’t keep track of it all month long. I do not want to give detailed reviews, just to keep track and share a short spoiler-free opinion. However, there are a few books and comics to talk about, so please read on! 🙂
To be honest, I actually don’t wear jewellery alot. I find it to be too impractical most of the time. But I still think it’s pretty and I’ve got a whole bunch of it. However, since I hardly wear it, I crammed most of it inside a drawer. Today, I finally managed to tidy this drawer, and guess what I found? A really cool kraken necklace, which I bought on ebay a few years ago. So of course when I saw it today, it totally reminded me of the Greyjoy emblem of Game of Thrones. Of course I hate Theon just as much as the next guy, but this family still has a bunch of other characters to offer, that are pretty interesting. So when I decided to wear the golden kraken with a black shirt, I got Asha, Aeron Damphair and the other cool ironborn in mind. And I wear it with pride 😉
